We have been living in the Oise for 40 years; in a small village just next to Senlis at the beginning and then in Baron for more than 15 years.
We appreciate the calm, the greenery, the space and the nearby forests while remaining close to Paris.
Village de Baron
Baron is a small commune in the Oise department in northern France. It is part of the Community of Communes "of the Valois region". The inhabitants of the commune of Baron are called Baronnais and Baronnaises.
With about 900 inhabitants, the village of Baron covers a total area of 21 km2 and an average altitude of 80 m.
The neighboring towns are
Versigny,
Montlognon,
Montagny-Sainte-Félicité,
Fontaine-Chaalis,
Montépilloy.
The nearest large town to Baron is
Compiègne and is 27 km north as the crow flies and the town of Senlis which is 10 km by road west of our village.
The closest SNCF train stations to Baron are in Nanteuil-le-Haudouin (5 km), Le Plessis-Belleville (8 km) or Crépy-en-Valois (13 km).
You can carry out all your administrative procedures at the town hall (birth, marriage, death), by going
directly to 6 rue Russons 60300 Baron.

With a total surface area of about 80 m², this house is very functional and well equipped, it will allow you to make the most of your stay.

- Packaging and paper/newspapers are collected on Friday morning, (containers to be deposited the evening before in front of the gate)
- Public glass containers are located, on the way to Nanteuil, at the exit of Baron on the right
